1.1 Official Result Source

All markets are settled using official results from the relevant sports governing body or league as the primary source. Where the official source is unavailable or disputed, Betzy reserves the right to use reputable secondary sources (e.g., official broadcaster feeds, verified statistics providers) and its own judgment.

1.2 Statistical Correction Window

Betzy will consider official statistical corrections issued within 72 hours of event completion. After 72 hours, settlements are final and will not be amended for retrospective corrections unless mandated by the relevant governing body.

1.3 Postponements & Suspensions

If an event is postponed and rescheduled to commence within 48 hours of the original start time, all bets remain valid and will be settled on the rescheduled event. If rescheduled beyond 48 hours, all bets are voided and stakes are returned. Suspended events that resume and are completed within 48 hours are settled normally; otherwise, bets are voided.

1.4 Player Did Not Start (DNS)

Any wager on a specific player or athlete who does not take any part in the event will be voided and the stake returned, unless the market explicitly states otherwise.

1.5 Overtime & Extra Innings

Unless otherwise stated in a market description:

• Full-game results include overtime and/or penalty shootouts for all sports except soccer (see Section 6).
• First-half, first-quarter, first-period, and other partial-game markets do not include overtime.

1.6 Dead Heats

Where two or more participants finish in a tie for a wagered position (e.g., joint winners, shared podium), the dead-heat rule applies: the payout is calculated as (Stake ÷ Number of Dead-Heat Winners) × Odds. The remaining portion of the stake is forfeited.

1.7 Voided Legs in Parlays & Pick'ems

If any leg of a parlay or pick'em is voided (event cancelled, market suspended, or DNS), that leg is treated as a push and removed from the parlay. The parlay continues with the remaining legs. A two-leg parlay with one voided leg becomes a single straight wager.

1.8 Palpable Errors

Betzy reserves the right to void any wager offered at clearly incorrect odds due to a technical error, human error, or data-feed error (a "palpable error"). Palpable errors are identified at Betzy's sole discretion, taking into account the prevailing market odds at the time. Stakes are returned on voided wagers.

1.9 Time References

Event start times refer to local venue time. Where local time is ambiguous or unavailable, U.S. Eastern Time is used as the reference. Any bet placed after the event has commenced that was not designated as a Live bet will be voided.

1.10 Currency

All wagers on the Betzy Platform are placed in Sweeps Coins (SC), where 1 SC = $1.00 USD prize-equivalent value. Gold Coins (GC) cannot be used for sports wagering.

2.1 Game Completion Requirement

NFL games must complete a minimum of 55 minutes of play to be considered official for settlement purposes. College football (NCAAF) games must complete a minimum of 55 minutes or be declared official by the relevant conference or governing body.

2.2 Full-Game Markets

All full-game NFL/NCAAF markets (spread, total, moneyline) include overtime. First-half and quarter-specific markets exclude overtime.

2.3 Player Props

Player prop bets (passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, touchdowns, etc.) are settled using official box-score statistics as confirmed by the NFL or the relevant college governing body. The player must take at least one offensive or defensive snap for their props to be settled; otherwise, the wager is voided.

3.1 Game Completion Requirements

• NBA: minimum 43 minutes of play for settlement.
• WNBA: minimum 35 minutes of play for settlement.
• NCAAB: minimum 35 minutes of play for settlement.

3.2 Full-Game Markets

All full-game markets include overtime. Half and quarter markets exclude overtime.

3.3 Player Props

A player must appear in the game (log at least 1 minute of playing time) for their player-prop wager to be settled. If a player is a DNP (Did Not Play), the wager is voided. Stats are based on official league box scores.

4.1 Official Game

An MLB game must complete at least 9 innings (8½ innings if the home team is winning) to be considered official. Games called early due to weather or other causes will be settled if they are declared official by MLB; otherwise, bets are voided.

4.2 Listed Pitcher Option

Where a "listed pitcher" option is available and the listed starter does not start, those wagers are voided. Where no listed-pitcher restriction is in place, wagers stand regardless of who pitches.

4.3 First 5 Innings

First-5-innings markets are settled on the score at the end of 5 complete innings (4½ if the home team is leading). If the game is called before 5 innings are complete, first-5-innings bets are voided.

5.1 Full-Game Markets

Full-game NHL markets (moneyline, puck line, total) include overtime and shootout. The winner is determined by the official final score including overtime/shootout.

5.2 Period Markets

Period-specific markets (1st period, 2nd period, 3rd period) are settled on results at the end of that period only. Overtime and shootout are excluded from period markets.

5.3 Game Completion

If a game is abandoned before completion, all bets are voided unless the result is officially confirmed by the NHL.

6.1 Regular Time Only

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the market description, all soccer markets are settled on the result after 90 minutes plus any referee-indicated stoppage time only. Extra time (30 minutes AET) and penalty shootout are not included in standard full-match markets.

6.2 'To Advance' / 'To Qualify' Markets

Markets on which team advances to the next round or qualifies for a competition include the outcome of extra time and penalty shootout, as the "advance" is determined by the full knockout tie.

6.3 Abandoned Matches

If a match is abandoned before 90 minutes are completed, all bets are void unless a result has already been determined (e.g., for a "first goal" market where a goal has already been scored and the market is clearly settled).

6.4 Booking / Card Markets

Bookings shown in extra time are excluded. A player who is shown a second yellow card (leading to a red) counts as both two yellow cards and one red card for booking points purposes.

7.1 Retirement Before Completion

If a player retires or is disqualified before the match is completed, all bets are voided except for markets that have already been fully determined (e.g., a completed-set winner or completed-game handicap).

7.2 Walkover

If a player receives a walkover without the match starting, all bets are voided.

7.3 Super Tiebreak

Where applicable, the super tiebreak (match tiebreak) played in lieu of a final set counts as a completed set for settlement purposes on "number of sets" markets.

8.1 Tournament Completion

Tournament winner markets require a minimum of 36 holes to be completed for the tournament to be considered official. If fewer than 36 holes are completed due to weather or other causes and no official winner is declared, bets are voided.

8.2 Head-to-Head Markets

Both players must tee off in the first round for head-to-head wagers to stand. If one player withdraws before teeing off, the wager is voided. If one player withdraws after teeing off, the other player wins (regardless of score). If both players withdraw, the wager is voided.

8.3 Dead Heats in Golf

Dead-heat rules apply to all positional markets (e.g., Top 5, Top 10, outright winner). See Rule 1.6 for the dead-heat calculation method.

9.1 Official Decision

All MMA and boxing markets are settled on the official decision announced in the arena at the conclusion of the bout, including judges' scorecards, knockout, technical knockout, disqualification, or submission as declared by the referee.

9.2 Method of Victory

Method-of-victory markets (KO/TKO, submission, decision, etc.) are settled on the official method recorded by the governing body. A TKO and a KO are treated as the same outcome for "KO/TKO" markets. A disqualification is settled as a "decision" unless a specific DQ market exists.

9.3 No Contest / Technical Decision

If the bout is declared a No Contest or Technical Decision, all bets are voided except those on markets where the result is clearly determined (e.g., rounds betting where the fight has already passed the relevant threshold).

10.1 Race Result

Markets are settled on the official classified result as issued by the relevant governing body (e.g., FIA for Formula 1, NASCAR for stock car racing). Post-race penalties and disqualifications are reflected in settlements only if applied within the 72-hour correction window (Rule 1.2).

10.2 Head-to-Head Markets

Both drivers/riders must complete at least one classified lap for head-to-head wagers to stand. If neither completes a lap, the wager is voided.

10.3 Non-Starters

Any wager on a driver/rider who does not start the race is voided and the stake returned.

11.1 Official Tournament Organizer Result

All esports markets are settled on the official result as declared by the tournament organizer. No appeals or corrections to in-game statistics from third-party sources are considered after the 72-hour window (Rule 1.2).

11.2 Game Abandonment / Remake

If a game or match is abandoned or remade due to technical issues and the organizer declares an official result, all bets are settled on that result. If no official result is declared, bets are voided.

11.3 Player / Team Changes

If a team fields a substitute player (stand-in) in a match, wagers on that match remain valid unless a specific player prop is affected, in which case the prop is voided.
