Who operates Betzy?

Betzy.fun is operated by Texwal LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

Betzy is a free-to-play promotional sweepstakes platform. You play with Gold Coins, which have no monetary value, and with Sweeps Coins, which are given away free and can be redeemed for prizes. Betzy is not a real-money casino. It does not accept wagers in the gambling sense and it does not hold a gaming licence.

Company information

The Cheyenne address is where legal correspondence and mail entries are received. We do not operate a public premises. Texwal LLC is the Sponsor of every sweepstakes promotion run on Betzy.fun.

Betzy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and our Terms include a binding individual arbitration clause and a class action waiver. Both are set out in full in the Terms of Service.

What is Betzy, and how do Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins work?

Betzy runs promotional sweepstakes. Prizes are awarded by chance, and no purchase is ever required to enter or to win. That last part is what separates a lawful sweepstakes from a lottery, and it is the foundation the whole platform stands on.

Gold Coins are for play only. They cannot be redeemed, exchanged or transferred, and buying a Gold Coin package buys entertainment and nothing else.

Sweeps Coins are the promotional entries. Each one must be wagered through at least one complete game round before it becomes eligible for redemption, and playing it through can lose it. How do I get Sweeps Coins without paying?

You can request Sweeps Coins by mail, for free, without buying anything.

1. Hand-print your full legal name, complete residential address (no PO Box), a valid email address and your date of birth on a 3in x 5in card.
2. Place it in an outer envelope with sufficient postage. One request per envelope.
3. Mail it to Betzy - Sweepstakes Entry, 1603 Capitol Avenue, Suite 413J PMB 2183, Cheyenne, WY 82001.

Each qualifying request receives one (1) Sweeps Coin. Multiple envelopes are permitted. Mechanically reproduced entries are void, and Betzy is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or postage-due mail. It takes up to 5 business days from receipt of a mailed request to SC credited.

Where can I play Betzy?

Betzy is available to eligible participants in permitted US states only. We are not available nationwide, and Betzy is not available outside the United States.

This list changes as legislation and enforcement change. The authoritative version is in our Terms of Service; the list above is a summary maintained alongside it. Void where prohibited by law. Betzy makes no representation that participation is lawful in any particular state.

Eligibility is checked by location at registration, at play and again at redemption. Using a VPN, proxy or location-spoofing tool to appear to be somewhere you are not breaches our terms, and the published consequence is account suspension with pending redemptions forfeited. Is Betzy licensed or regulated?

Betzy holds no gaming licence, and a promotional sweepstakes does not require one. We are not a gambling website and we do not accept wagers in the gambling sense.

What governs Betzy is federal and state sweepstakes and consumer-protection law, together with our own published Official Rules and Terms of Service. Those documents bind us, they are public, and they are linked from this page. Our anti-money-laundering programme is set out in the AML, CFT and KYC Policy, and it is reviewed at least annually.

How old do I have to be, and how is identity checked?

You must be at least 18 to open a Betzy account or to play any game, free or otherwise, and at least 21 where the jurisdiction requires it.

You must register in your own real identity. One account per person. We check for duplicate accounts and close them.

Before a first prize is issued we verify identity through a contracted provider: a government-issued photo ID, an automated authenticity check, a real-time liveness selfie matched against that ID, and sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening. A valid SSN or ITIN is collected at the point of first redemption for IRS reporting.

The name on the account, the name on the identity document and the name on the receiving payment method must match. We do not release a prize to an unverified account, and this is the main reason a first redemption takes longer than later ones. The full process is in identity verification at Betzy.

Where do Betzy's games come from, and how are outcomes decided?

Betzy licenses its games from third-party studios and does not build its own. Game results are produced by each studio's own random number generator, inside software we license and do not modify. Nobody at Betzy can see or alter the outcome of a round in progress.

How do prize redemptions work?

Redemption happens in two stages, and only the second is about payment speed.

Responsible gameplay

Betzy is entertainment. It is not a way to make money and it is not a way to solve a financial problem.

Tools in your account: daily, weekly and monthly spending limits on Gold Coin purchases; session reminders at 30, 60 or 90 minutes; cooling-off periods of 24 hours, 7, 14 or 30 days; and self-exclusion for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently. A confidential self-assessment based on validated NCPG screening questions is also available.

How limits work. A decrease to a spending limit takes effect immediately. An increase takes effect only after a mandatory 48-hour cooling-off period and requires you to re-confirm it. A cooling-off period, once activated, cannot be shortened or cancelled.

If you self-exclude, we close play access for the period you choose and remove you from marketing for the same period. A permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed. We do not attempt to win back excluded players.

Our marketing commitments. We do not present Betzy as a way to solve financial problems. We do not misrepresent the chance of winning. We do not market to anyone under 18. Security, payments and your data

Gold Coin purchases and prize payments are handled by third-party payment providers under PCI DSS requirements. Betzy does not store full payment card numbers.

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest with AES-256, which covers financial information and government ID data. Administrative access to production systems requires multi-factor authentication and is granted on a least-privilege basis. We commission annual penetration testing by qualified third-party security firms. We do not sell personal data.

We hold the personal data needed to run your account and verify your identity, and nothing we do not need. What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted is set out in our Data Protection and Privacy Policy. To close your account and request deletion, email privacy@betzy.fun or use the Delete Account function in your account settings. We respond to verifiable requests within 30 days, and anti-money-laundering law requires us to retain certain records for a minimum of five years regardless.

We do not claim security certifications we do not hold, and no security system is completely impenetrable.

Contact Betzy and how to raise a complaint

For urgent account or compliance matters, include the word URGENT in the subject line.

Complaints. Email support@betzy.fun with "Complaint" in the subject line. If a redemption was denied and you believe the denial was made in error, you may appeal with supporting documentation within 30 days of the denial notice. We reply as quickly as possible, under 5 minutes.

Formal disputes. Our Terms require you to attempt informal resolution first, and we will try to resolve the matter within 30 days. After that, disputes go to binding individual arbitration under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules in Laramie County, Wyoming. The Terms include a class action waiver. Small claims court remains available, as does a complaint to a regulatory agency.

If something changes

We give at least 15 days' notice of material changes to our Terms, where that is practicable, and you may redeem an eligible Sweeps Coin balance under the prior Terms before the change takes effect.

If you cannot resolve a problem with us directly, you can contact your state's Attorney General consumer-protection office, or dispute a Gold Coin purchase with your bank or card issuer.

Document control

We update this page whenever we verify a material change to state availability, prize redemption, payment methods, age policy, our supplier list or our company details. We do not refresh the date to make the page look current when nothing has changed.
