Betzy in one minute

Betzy is a free-to-play social sweepstakes platform operated by Texwal LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. It is not a gambling website. Gold Coins have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or prizes, and are sold for entertainment only.

Two currencies run the platform: Gold Coins are virtual entertainment credits, and Sweeps Coins are promotional sweepstakes entries carrying a prize value of $1.00 USD per Redeemable Sweeps Coin. Each Sweeps Coin has to be wagered through at least one complete game round before it becomes Redeemable. No purchase is ever necessary to play or to win, and Sweeps Coins are always obtainable free.

To take part you must be 18 or older, 21 or older where the jurisdiction requires it, a legal resident of the United States, and in a state where Betzy operates.

The four steps from free entry to prize

Getting from a free entry to a paid prize takes four steps.

1. Get Sweeps Coins free, through the daily login bonus, a promotion, or a mailed request.
2. Play each Sweeps Coin through at least one complete game round, which makes it Redeemable.
3. Request a redemption of at least 50 Sweeps Coins, the standard minimum per request.
4. Pass identity and compliance review, then receive the prize by the method you chose.

Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins do different jobs

Only Sweeps Coins can become a prize, and only after they have been played through.

Betzy also tracks whether each Sweeps Coin is Bonus-Derived or Purchase-Derived, because that origin decides which redemption caps apply to your balance, and the Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins comparison sets out those rules.

No purchase is ever necessary

Gold Coin purchases are optional and give no gameplay advantage. A player who has never bought anything has the same chance of winning as a player who has. Sweeps Coins reach your account free by three routes.

• Daily login bonus: a free Sweeps Coin allocation each day you log in.
• Mail-in request: a handwritten request on a 3in x 5in card, awarding one Sweeps Coin per qualifying request.
• Promotions: in-platform promotions, social giveaways, referral programs and special events.

Where you can play

Betzy does not operate nationwide. Washington, Idaho and Nevada have no access at all, which means no gameplay and no redemption. Michigan residents may play but cannot redeem.

That list is the one published in the Betzy Terms of Service (Version 1.0, effective June 5, 2026), which is the authoritative version, and Betzy's own wording there is that additional states may be restricted for specific features and that the list may be updated at any time as laws change. What happens before a prize is paid

Every redemption request is reviewed before a prize is issued, and none of that review is automatic. Full identity verification has to pass before a first prize is issued: a government photo ID, plus a real-time selfie matched against the photo on it.

Playing within limits

We run Betzy as entertainment, not as a way to make money and not as a way out of a financial problem. Four tools live in your account for holding play inside a limit you set.

• Spending limits on Gold Coin purchases, daily, weekly or monthly.
• Session time reminders at 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
• Cooling-off for 24 hours, 7 days, 14 days or 30 days, immediate and irreversible.
• Self-exclusion for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently, with any unredeemed Sweeps Coin balance liable to forfeiture.

Spending limits move faster in one direction than the other: a decrease takes effect immediately, and an increase waits out a mandatory 48-hour cooling-off period and then has to be re-confirmed.
